Delivery and Payment

The terms and conditions for delivery and payment or valid from 31st of October 2017. We maintain the rights to change those terms and advise the customers to read them before any purchase.

Products and pricing

The product features and prices are visible on the website. The prices include the Finnish Value Added Tax (14 per cent for food products, 24 per cent for natural cosmetics) and may be viewed in the shopping basket and the confirmation e-mail. We maintain the rights to change product prices and delivery fees and advise the customers to review them before any purchase.

Order and purchase agreement

Customers are requested to confirm and pay for their order after the order has been placed. We ask our customers to read and confirm the terms and conditions for delivery and payment before any purchase. Orders are legally binding and lead to a purchase agreement between Findulgences and the customer so as long as the customer does not invoke his oder her right of cancellation (see below). Please read our terms and conditions for more information.

Available Countries

We currently deliver our products to EU countries and Switzerland. If you are located outside these countries and would like to buy our products, please get in touch with us.

Important note: Deliveries into Switzerland are subject to special conditions (please see "Delivery, delivery time and custom fees Switzerland"

Delivery operators

We currently offer delivery through ShipIt (EU, Switzerland and Finland).

ShipIt is a Finnish company through which we choose the cheapest and fastest option from multiple other shipping operators. Usually we send our packages through the Finnish Posti company which handles the delivery through its partner companies in other countries. You might get your package from DHL or another company.

Delivery period

The delivery time through one of ShipIt's operators is 3-6 business days for international deliveries and 1-2 business days for deliveries in Finland.

Special conditions apply to deliveries to Switzerland, please see "Delivery, delivery time and custom fees Switzerland".

Our service partners collect parcels from Monday to Friday. Customers are advised that the time of day their order is placed in our shop plays a role in how long the delivery process takes and how fast we can dispatch it.

Delivery fees EU

Deliveries into the EU are send through ShipIt. Delivery is free for orders above 70€ with ShipIt. The delivery fees for orders below 70€ are fixed at 6.90€.

Any delivery fees will be clearly visible in the shopping basket before the order is finalized and the before the payment process.

Delivery, delivery time and custom fees Switzerland

Deliveries to Switzerland are subject to special conditions because Switzerland is not a member of the European Union Customs Union.

The delivery fees for orders from Switzerland are fixed at 20.90€. There is no free shipping limit.

Please be advised that the delivery time to Switzerland might be prolonged due to the parcels having to pass Swiss customs (and delivery times in general might be longer compared to shipments into the EU). Extra custom fees and other expenses might apply and customers bear the expenses. Finnflavours has no influence on the duration of the customs check. There is no free shipping limit for deliveries into Switzerland.

Delivery fees in Finland

Deliveries in Finland are handled by ShipIt. Delivery is free for orders above 60€. The delivery fees for orders below 60€ are fixed at 4.90€. Any delivery fees will be clearly visible in the shopping basket before the order is finalized and the before the payment process.

Pick-up

Customers who live in or near Turku or who happen to be in town can also pick up their products from free of charge (no delivery fees). In order to do this, the order must be first placed and paid in our store (a valid address and phone number must be entered). The pick-up option is available when proceeding with the check-out. We currently accept payments in Euros.

Payment methods

Customers can pay their orders by using either PayPal or Klarna. 

PayPal

PayPal offers both credit card payments and the popular method of using an own PayPal account. The payment process is easy and PayPal leads the customer through the process.

Note: Should a customer own a PayPal account, the option to pay with a credit card may not be visible. This is because PayPal uses cookies and identified the customer as a PayPal account owner. We recommend clearing the browser cookies or using another browser.

Klarna

The Swedish firm Klarna offers both credit card payments and the following payment methods:

  • Invoice
  • Debit
  • Bank transfer
  • Deferred payment

​The payment process is easy and Klarna leads the customer through the process.

Note: If customers pay with Klarna, the recipient of the payment will be automatically chosen as Klarna AB in Sweden. This is correct and customers may pay without any hesitation. Klarna will transfer the money to Finnflavours.

Order confirmation and payment

Customers receive an e-mail which confirms their order after the order has been successfully placed. We advise customers to pay special attention when they enter their e-mail address. The chosen payment method is confirmed in the confirmation e-mail. Should we not be able to accept an order, the customer will be notified as soon as possible. The purchase agreement between Findulgences and a customer only enters into force after the order confirmation e-mail has been sent.

Right to cancellation and return

Customers have the right to cancel their order in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Any order can be canceled without reason. The cancellation must be send to Findulgences within 14 days after receiving the order either in written form (letter or legible note within the return package) or by e-mail.

Cancellation and refunds are only possible if all products are returned in their original state (unused, undamaged, in their original package).

Should customers invoke their right to cancel an order, the products have to be returned to the return address (see below) at the latest after 14 days of the cancellation date.

When customers return their order, we kindly ask them to provide us with their full name, contact information and bank connection (IBAN and BIC) as well as the bill of the return package (with the price clearly visible) in order to refund the money for the products and the return delivery. Findulgences covers the return bill entirely. Original delivery fees are not refunded.
